Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Rimuru (“the Bot”, “we”, “our”) collects from its users (“you”), how that information is used, and how it is protected when you interact with the Bot on WhatsApp.

1. Information We Collect

To function properly and provide features like the global economy, Pokémon catching, and moderation, Rimuru collects the following data:

• User Identifiers: Your WhatsApp Phone Number (JID) and your WhatsApp Display Name.
• Group Metadata: Group IDs and Group Names where the bot is active (necessary for group-specific configurations and spawn systems).
• Game & Economy Data: Your virtual balances (coins, gems), inventory, Pokémon data, active cooldowns, and daily streaks.
• Activity Logs: We maintain internal transaction logs (e.g., trades, coin transfers, gambling history) to monitor for bugs, exploits, and cheating.
• Command Inputs: When you use a command, the text or media you provide (e.g., search queries for anime/manga, text for TTS) is temporarily processed by the bot.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Private Conversations: We do not read, log, or store your regular WhatsApp messages. The Bot only processes messages that begin with the designated command prefix (e.g., .manga, .pokemon).
• Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Beyond your WhatsApp number, we do not ask for or store your real name, location, email, or financial information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data exclusively to operate and improve the Bot:

• To manage your virtual game profile (saving your Pokémon, cards, and money).
• To enforce moderation (tracking warnings, suspensions, and bans).
• To prevent abuse, botting, or exploitation of the economy.
• To fulfill your command requests (e.g., fetching a specific light novel or generating a sticker).

4. Third-Party Services and APIs

Rimuru relies on various third-party APIs to provide features like AI image generation, anime/manga search, and Text-to-Speech (TTS).

• When you use these specific commands, your input query may be securely transmitted to these external services to fetch the result.
• We do not share your WhatsApp number or user profile with these third-party services.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention: Your game data and profile are kept indefinitely so you don’t lose your progress, unless you are permanently banned or the developers perform a global reset.
• Data Deletion: If you wish to opt out and have your data permanently erased from our database, you can contact the bot administrators. Once deleted, all game progress (Pokémon, money, etc.) is permanently unrecoverable.

6. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the database where your profile and WhatsApp number are stored. Access to this database is strictly limited to the Bot Developers. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features or commands. Any changes will be communicated via bot announcements or in our official support group.
